Founded in 1947 under “Plumbing and Stainless Steel Works”, the parent company became Stainless Steel Industries (IAI) during the ‘60s. For nearly sixty years now, the Corporation has consistently positioned itself as a leader in the manufacturing industry. Each and every step in its development was achieved having in mind both the needs of our clients and the importance of service quality.

INOX-Distribution was created to give our clients access to a permanent inventory of everyday stainless steel supplies. The member company carries a substantial stock of material. INOX-Distribution has now acquired a significant market share in the supply of high quality stainless steel parts and components.

Bourret RGA was incorporated within the group to ensure the perennety of “IAI quality brand” in the provision of general contracting services for projects falling under Quebec’s construction decree. Important changes have been introduced in the decree since 2003 such that the presence of this member company is even more so pertinent. Since that date, a number of works related to the installation, repair and maintenance of production machinery are now subjugated to the construction legislation.

The US Corporation Global Stainless Steel was put up in support of our goals for the American marketplace. The member company has achieved remarkable growth since its creation with projects completed in a number of regions of the East coast, the center and the South of the United States.

IAI BioPharma has been incorporated as the Group’s member company dedicated to the development of process technologies for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. IAI BioPharma is endowed with all necessary facilities, tools and the human capital required to manage, under a single roof, all phases of the production cycle of equipment or biopharmaceutical automated process platforms.

Agro Process operates as an authorized distributor representing manufacturers of process technologies and specialized equipment for clients in the industrial sectors served by the Group. Agro Process is also responsible for the sale of used or reconditioned equipment available through the Group.
